About The Perry Hotel

Responsibilities/Duties
- Possesses knowledge of all hotel and marina services as well as hours of operation.
- Greets guests courteously, ability to check guests in and out of the PMS.
- Possesses knowledge of reservation and billing systems.
- Maintains and controls room inventory and availability, coordinates with Housekeeping.
- Possesses knowledge of the hotel's credit policies.
- Possesses knowledge of hotel products, rates, and special promotions.
- Monitors the arrival emails and responds to guest requests.
- Monitors and responds to Helix notifications
- Checks in Resort Pass guests
- Possesses knowledge of, and uses, emergency procedures.
- Conducts inventory of and restocks supplies.
- Completes checkout procedures for guests.
- Maintains security of guest keys and cash drawer; counts and verifies the cash at the end of each shift.
- Monitors guest accounts and notifies supervisor of any extreme changes to any guest account, or suspicious actions by guests.
- Runs a detailed shift audit by employee, and balances daily work to computers.
- Maintains neatness of front desk work area.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Required Training/
High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior Front Desk experience preferred, but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have command of the English language
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills
- Must be able to work flexible and extended days/hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Thrive in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Able to stand, sit and continuously move for extended periods of time.
- Must be alert to the needs of guests and team members.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Good hearing and vision with or without corrective lenses.
