KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Team Management & Leadership- Lead and manage a diverse, cross-functional team, including warehouse associates, logistics coordinators, and safety officers, across multiple global locations.
- Foster a positive and productive team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to perform efficiently and safely.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate career development for all direct reports.
- Oversee the entire supply chain operation from receiving to distribution, ensuring prototypes are stored, processed, and shipped efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline warehouse workflows and reduce operational costs while maintaining high service levels.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels with monthly cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance of prototypes.
- Champion and enforce all workplace safety protocols, ensuring the warehouse environment complies with local, regional, and global safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure the team adheres to all relevant industry standards, to minimize risks and improve safety culture.
- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource allocation.
- Implement data-driven decision-making and lean management principles to improve workflow and reduce waste.
- Set, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse productivity, accuracy, safety, and cost control.
- Ensure the effective use of warehouse management software (WMS) and other technology tools to improve accuracy and productivity.
- Lead regular meetings to discuss operational performance, address challenges, and share best practices across global teams.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on key operational metrics, issues, and initiatives.
- Manage the budget for the warehouse and supply chain operations, ensuring cost-efficiency without sacrificing quality or service.
- Track and report on financial performance, and identify areas for cost-saving opportunities within logistics and warehouse management.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions in supply chain management and warehouse operations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new practices to maintain competitive advantage and operational effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- 7 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and risk management in a warehouse environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions that drive operational success.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise software for logistics.
- Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and global coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Proactive and results-oriented.
- Ability to balance global strategy with local operational needs.
DESIRED CRITERIA:
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial forecasting for operational departments.
