WHAT YOU WILL DO :
The Security Design Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning, design, and implementation of security systems and processes across a project, ensuring that all security measures are implemented effectively and meet established standards, while collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and achieve project goals within budget and timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of security systems and protocols across a project
Design security systems and architectures, including access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and network security measures, aligning with project requirements and compliance standards
Lead the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation
Evaluate and manage security vendors, ensuring the quality and compliance of security equipment and services
Conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats, then develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies
Create detailed security design documents, project reports, and presentations to communicate security plans and progress to stakeholders
Ensure project adherence to relevant security regulations and industry standards
Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches or vulnerabilities during project implementation.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA :
Strong understanding of security technologies including access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, network security, and cybersecurity principles.
Proven experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure within budget and deadlines.
Ability to identify, analyze, and prioritize security risks.
Familiarity with relevant security regulations and industry standards
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and technical teams
Ability to lead and manage security design teams and projects
Able to travel up to 20% for site visits within the US
