About the Position


We are experiencing rapid growth and seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager. This role involves supporting, managing, and expanding our CPG portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately compiling and analyzing relevant data and effectively crafting the selling story with our team of brokers to present it to multiple retailers. Building strong relationships and showcasing retail acumen are key to this position, along with extreme attention to detail and relationship management.


As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be an essential resource to the organization. You will work closely with a team of sales brokers, managing relationships with both current and potential retailers for eosera®. Your experience will be valued as you drive the channel and interact daily with the leadership team. You will maintain brand guardrails to ensure proper channel product placement, promotions, and pricing. Your preparation may include working alongside company leaders, including the CEO and CFO, before, during, and after pitches to ensure readiness and follow-through for the designated company representative. This includes pulling recent data to update the pitch deck with compelling information, accurate pricing, and ensuring the content is always on brand. Also, this role will provide reporting on promotions, recommendations, and meticulous documentation.


Given the nature of our products, prior experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) is essential. Experience with over-the-counter healthcare, wellness, or beauty products is a significant advantage. We need someone capable of working both collaboratively and autonomously who will take ownership of the precision, accuracy, and effectiveness of our pitch, the deck, and trade marketing coordination, both internally and externally, with our brokers and retailers. This position will be an integral part of our small, growing Marketing team, working cross-functionally to ensure all efforts are aligned towards our growth goals.


Our company presents at a handful of medical meetings annually and representation is required to champion eosera® products with the medical professionals attending, which equates to about 10% travel. This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support the Senior Director of Marketing and CEO with all aspects of developing and executing strategies to drive product sales and brand presence through trade channels, including retailers, wholesalers, and e-commerce.
  • Develop Trade Marketing Strategies: Create tailored campaigns and promotional activities designed to boost sales and brand visibility at the retail level. This could involve in-store displays, point-of-sale materials, or promotional pricing.
  • Manage Sales Broker Relationships: Build strong partnerships with sales brokers to ensure our products are well-represented in-store and that promotional efforts are executed effectively.
  • Prepare Pitch Decks: Ensure the pitch deck utilized by our CEO is accurate and compelling by pulling recent data, verifying correct pricing, and ensuring all content is on-brand.
  • Pitch the Deck: Be an ambassador of the brand and present the deck as required.
  • Follow Through: Closely follow and ensure the effectiveness of pitches by taking copious notes and following through on action items, including sending samples, all the way down to tracking the shipping and confirming receipt, and manage the process of tracking and moving prospective retailers through the pipeline.
  • Analyze Performance: Monitor the effectiveness of trade promotions and activities, analyzing sales data, and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally:Collaborate as needed to align efforts toward organizational goals, such as participate in new item and promotion forecasts to ensure customer service needs are met; including working with Marketing and Supply Chain team members via the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process and manage the inventory and production needs as necessary.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage budgets for trade marketing activities and ensure that resources are used efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to ensure trade marketing strategies are competitive and relevant.
  • Marketing Team Participation:Support e-commerce site management and participate in marketing events and special initiatives as needed with a willingness to pitch in and do whatever needs to be done.
  • Brand ambassador:Be a champion of eosera® Core Values, supporting a positive culture with exceptionally high standards, and work in true partnership with team members and all external stakeholders.



Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in marketing, including 2 years of experience supporting in-store retail sales
  • Experience with CPG products, especially with over-the-counter health care, wellness and/or beauty products is a plus
  • Experience strategically managing and documenting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with creating, editing, and managing content in pitch decks or similar high-stakes marketing presentations
  • Experience in an early-stage or high-growth, entrepreneurial, small team environment where each member of the team is wearing many hats and participating in building the business is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Organizational and Project Management tools such as Monday, One Note, Google Sheets
  • Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Apple products and services is a plus
