- Safely transport clients to and from appointments, events, and designated locations as directed by the program.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks in accordance with company policy.
- Adhere to policies and procedures for reporting vehicle accidents or incidents.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Complete other assigned duties to support program operations.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to operate a vehicle continuously for up to three hours.
- Minimum of one year of continuous sobriety and freedom from chemical dependency.
- Strong observational and driving skills, including navigating congested areas and inclement weather (snow and ice).
- Adaptability to handle varying priorities and schedules effectively.
- Lifting: None required.
- Standing: Minimal.
- Stair Climbing: None required.
- Driving: Operation of small passenger vans, typically 2–4 hours per day.
- Sitting: Continuous, up to 6 hours per day.
- Reaching: Frequent, up to 3 hours per day.
- Bending/Squatting: Occasionally, approximately 10% of the time.
- Walking: Minimal.
