Job Summary:
We are seeking an inventory clerk in the city of Fontana CA. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, managing stock, and ensuring proper handling of materials and products. This role involves tracking, organizing, and coordinating inventory operations, ensuring that all supplies are readily available for production.
***Must have experience on the cherry picker***
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and update records accordingly.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Track the movement of materials, parts, and finished goods within the warehouse.
Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of products, quantities, and conditions.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of incoming goods, reporting any damages or discrepancies.
Stock Organization:
- Organize inventory in the warehouse or storage areas to maximize space and ensure easy access to items.
- Label and categorize products properly for easier identification and retrieval.
Order Fulfillment:
- Prepare and pull inventory orders for shipments or production needs.
- Ensure that orders are filled accurately and timely.
Inventory System Maintenance:
- Update inventory management systems with accurate data regarding stock levels, product movement, and order status.
- Input product information and track inventory transactions.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely reordering of stock.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers as needed to resolve issues.
