Job Description : Rooftop Material Handler

Pay Rate : $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience

Hours : Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm

Position Overview :

The Rooftop Material Handler is responsible for safely unloading and delivering building materials to jobsites, including rooftops or designated ground drop areas. This position requires working in various weather conditions and ensuring the safe handling and delivery of materials while providing superior customer service. You will work closely with the CDL driver partner to ensure all deliveries are completed safely and accurately.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

Physically unload and load roofing materials onto rooftops or designated ground drop areas.
Assist in maneuvering delivery vehicles and determine the safest places to drop materials.
Collaborate with CDL driver partner to determine the best and safest locations for material drops.
Double-check all loads for accuracy and ensure materials are thoroughly secured for delivery.
Assist with the delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and help unload and stage products as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service while on delivery.
Offer warehouse support when not actively making deliveries.
Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of safety harnesses and equipment.
Perform all duties safely, maintaining high standards for workplace safety.

Qualifications :

Must be able to climb ladders and work on rooftops comfortably (must be comfortable with heights).

Ability to consistently lift and carry 75-100 lbs throughout the shift.

Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the shift.

Ability to work in both hot and cold weather conditions.

Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing the required safety harness and equipment at all times.

Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
