Community Engager
A community engager must be able to think and act quickly but strategically, stay on the pulse of competitive and social media activities, and industry trends. Should have a strong interest in social content, content creation, a love for meme culture and trends. Focused on nurturing social communities for national brands, this role spans content management, insight generation, and executing social strategies within EP Co. A strong cultural pulse and effective collaboration across social media functions are key.
Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management
- Write and post content on social media platforms (like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- They make sure the content and responses fit the brand's voice and what the audience cares about.

Social Listening & Trendspotting
- They keep an ear to the ground, monitoring what people are saying online about the brand and its industry.
- They track trending topics and shifts in online culture (memes, viral moments, subcultures) to keep the brand relevant.

Community Engagement
- They interact with followers, replying to comments, answering DMs, and starting conversations, to keep the audience engaged and happy.
- They might run giveaways, events, or fun campaigns to make the community feel involved and loyal to the brand.

Strategic Collaboration
- They work with other teams (like account, strategy, creative, and production) to make sure social insights influence bigger campaigns and brand decisions.

Analytics & Reporting
- They regularly check how posts and campaigns are performing (likes, shares, reach, engagement rates).
- They build reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to show what’s working and what’s not, and adjust strategies based on those insights.
- They share learnings with both internal and external teams to help optimize the work.

Influencer Management
- They find, recommend, and collaborate with influencers.
- They manage contracts, content, and creative direction for influencer partnerships with support from strategy and business affairs.

Thought Leadership
- They help internal and external teams understand the power and potential of social media.

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in community management, with a focus on content, copywriting, analytics, and engagement.
- Proven ability to identify and leverage trends within online communities to drive engagement.
- Creative thinker with a passion for cultivating vibrant and interactive online communities.
- Proficient in social media platforms, community management tools, and content creation software.
- Ability to create content, including social video, captions, and social photography.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen understanding of brand voice.
- Comfortable with copywriting and able to execute creative quickly.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to inform strategy and measure performance.
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management.
