- Assessing the current and future regulatory environment (CFTC, CSA, EMIR, etc.), the impacts on their business, and the health of their processes and technology,
- Providing guidance on the best practices to optimize their regulatory function, bridging the gap between compliance and technology,
- Helping to implement solutions based on that guidance in a timely and efficient manner,
- Serving as a trusted advisor as the regulatory environment evolves.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and take guidance from the Essentia project manager or principal consultant on work assignments
- Participate in, contribute to, and assist with facilitation in requirements gathering sessions with the client
- Assume hands-on project duties including design, documentation (notes, specifications), configuration, testing, and deployment
- Participate in and support design decisions on customizations or interfaces between CTRM platforms and other systems
- Present the project’s solution to client representatives
- Provide guidance to other consultants
- Bachelor’s degree or greater
- 5 years’ experience commodity regulatory or compliance related position(s)
- Familiarity with RegTech landscape, applications, and latest news & innovations
- Deep interest in, and understanding of, regulatory reporting frameworks across North America (CFTC, CSA), Europe (UK, EMIR, REMIT), and Asia (MAS, AISC)
- Experience working with a commodity ETRM/ or CTRM system(s)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experienced and skilled user of office productivity tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be self-motivated, independent, resourceful and one who is capable of being objective and giving/taking constructive feedback
