General Summary:
Assists in the care of all patients admitted. Assists in the preparation of patients for endoscopy and the performance of endoscopic procedures. Assists with the maintenance and and the use of endoscopy equipment and supplies.
Principal Duties:
Assists in the care of all patients admitted. Assists in the preparation of patients for endoscopy and the performance of endoscopic procedures. Assists with the maintenance and and the use of endoscopy equipment and supplies.
Principal Duties:
- Assists with the delivery of direct care to patients under supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist with admissions and discharge of patients.
- Takes and records vital signs.
- Documents on all forms required.
- Assists with position of patient during procedure.
- Assists with patients education under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Technical:
- Prepares rooms, Equipment and supplies to accommodate the patient load.
- Clean, disinfect, and/or sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Assist with ordering supply inventory.
- Deliver specimens to lab when required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Completion of medical assistant, nursing assistant or other healthcare program.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
