The Senior Environmental Engineer (or Scientist) will be a member within the Remediation team responsible for managing a portfolio of remediation sites, as assigned, in multiple states.
The hired employee will work at the Enterprise corporate office in Houston with less than 10% travel requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Accountable for a portfolio of remediation projects with the expectation of moving the projects through the remediation process from initial assessment to closure or long-term O&M.
- Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of assessment, remediation, and closure strategies for assigned remediation projects.
- Responsible for managing third-party environmental consultants engaged in project management and field support related to environmental projects.
- Ability to thoroughly review technical reports, scopes of work, and proposals relating to the projects.
- Provide expertise to internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Legal, Accounting, etc.).
