Civil Site Superintendent - Utility Scale
Project duration will be approximately 2 years
Location: Durant, Oklahoma
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all civil construction activities for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
- Oversee site operations, including excavation, grading, and foundation work, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate construction schedules and resolve any on-site issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with OSHA regulations and industry best practices, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Manage and mentor site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil site management
- OSHA 30 certification is required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and techniques, particularly in solar installations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
