Chief Inspector - Pipeline and Chief Inspector
Start Date: Late April/Early May
Duration: 2 months could roll into additional project in Pelican, LA

Role: The role of the Chief Inspector will oversee all inspectors and interface with the Contractors to ensure proper implementation of all construction specifications, contract documents and project requirements in a safe and quality manner. The Chief Inspector works under the direction of the Project Manager.
Qualification: A high school diploma, eight (8) years field experience in construction and regulations in the oil/gas industry and knowledge of pipeline construction methods and procedures (stringing, welding, coating, drilling, etc.). They also need to have at least 5 years directing and managing the work of others.
The Chief Inspector skills and previous experience shall include the following:

- Ability to communicate with entire project team
- Good organization and coordination skills
- Ability to review documentation accuracy and retainage.
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances.
- Progress reporting and scheduling.
- General knowledge of progress billing and change orders.
- Critical Training (Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, Hot Work, Excavation)
- OSHA 10 Hour Safety Card, at a minimum.
