Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify welding processes, procedures, and quality on pipeline construction
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Perform visual and non-destructive testing of welds
- Review and interpret welding documentation and reports
- Identify and document weld defects and non-conformances
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve welding-related issues
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports
- Certified Pipeline Welding Inspector (CPWI) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- NACE Level 1 Coating Inspector
- Extensive knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and standards
- Familiarity with pipeline construction practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in challenging field conditions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- 5 years of relevant welding inspection experience in pipeline projects
