Job Overview:
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team. The Operations Supervisor's main focus will include managing the day-to-day operation of assigned Account(s), ensuring that safety, customer, and driver goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Minimum two years of relevant transportation operations experience.
- Basic data entry skills accuracy important.
- Intermediate dispatch experience.
- Understanding of financial reporting.
- Occasional travel in job as required.
- Ability to meet work processes deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and accept responsibility.
- Ability to work flexible hours, nights and weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
Scheduling of Customer Shipments to meet customer needs, serving as customer POC for tactical needs.
Accurate and timely payroll submitted.
Accurate and timely billing submitted, work with customer on any issues.
Interact with drivers handling day to day operational issues, addressing/elevating as appropriate.
Working with PTL, ensure that equipment is PM'd and repaired as applicable in a timely manner.
Executing company Safety Programs including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and coaching.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
