Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

A New York-based e-commerce company, has been delivering exceptional products and services for over 50 years. With operations across three locations and over 100,000 direct-to-consumer orders each month, we are seeking a CRO to lead and scale our revenue strategy across major eCommerce platforms.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a strategic and results-oriented Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to take ownership of our top-line growth and bottom-line profitability. This individual will lead our revenue strategy across platforms like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and our own website— And continue growing our government and B2B sales team, identifying growth opportunities, improving profitability, and building sustainable revenue streams.
We already have a highly capable Director of Sales who manages daily execution and operational sales functions. The CRO’s role is not to manage the day-to-day but to provide high-level direction, structure, and strategy that elevate the entire revenue operation and position the company for scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a long-term revenue growth strategy
- Identify new growth opportunities including category expansion, channel diversification, and high-potential product lines.
- Drive performance through data-driven decision-making around pricing, promotions, assortment, and advertising.
- Build frameworks and dashboards for revenue tracking, goal setting, and performance measurement.
- Evaluate emerging trends and technologies that can increase efficiency and competitiveness.
- Support and guide the Sales managers with high-level planning, process improvements, and scalable strategies.
- Establish KPIs and ensure all revenue-driving activities are aligned with company-wide objectives.
- Lead high-level discussions on where, how, and why we invest in growth and expansion.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of senior leadership experience in eCommerce or digital marketplace revenue roles.
- Deep experience with Amazon (including Amazon Business), plus strong familiarity with eBay, Walmart, and DTC.
- Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth while maintaining profitability.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with comfort making decisions from complex data.
- Familiarity with marketplace tools, advertising platforms, and reporting systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and results-driven approach.
- Ability to identify and act on growth opportunities quickly and efficiently.
Salary : $250,000 - $275,000
