Job Title : English Learner Program Teacher (ELPT)
The English Learner Program Teacher (ELPT) is responsible for providing high-quality, tailored instruction to students whose first language is not English. This role focuses on developing students' language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and preparing them for academic success in an English-speaking environment. The Instructor works closely with students to improve their English skills, while also supporting them in adapting to the cultural and academic demands of the school or institution.
Epic Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated English Learner Program Teacher (ELPT) to support and advance the educational success of English Learners (ELs). The ideal candidate will hold a Bilingual and / or ESL Endorsement and have strong knowledge of standards and district policies.
Key Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited institution
- Bilingual and / or ESL Endorsement (required)
- Knowledge of WIDA ELD, CCSS, and other relevant standards
- Familiarity with district policies for ELs
- Experience promoting high-quality instruction and advocating for equity
