WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Production Control department, the Material Handlerpulls kits of parts and materials for job completion,monitors workstation inventory, and makes sure partsare delivered to correct work centers on time and with correct system documentation. Reports to the Production Control Lead. The ideal candidate will have the ability to stay organized and deliver in a fast-paced environment.This is a fantastic entry-level position, with room for advancement, for someone who likes to keep moving and maintainan organized workflow. On-the-job trainingis provided.Learn a New Skill.Other expectations may include :
- Move aircraft parts from receivingto theirinventory location
- Takecompleted kits ofparts and assemblies to theirinventory location
- Move aircraft parts and assemblies between departments
- Occasionally moves materials up to 40 lbs between carts and shelves
- Simple inventory updates in the computer system
- Complete inventorycounts
- Maintainclean and organized inventory areas
