What are the responsibilities and job description for the Premium Payable Analyst position at EPIC Brokers?
Location : Hybrid role (2 days in office minimum), Concord, CA, Newport Beach, CA or Reno, NV (can sit in any CA office)
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to process timely Agency Bill premium payments to our insurance carriers. This position requires strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills which will give you the tools necessary to successfully complete your tasks and lend support to your colleagues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Process "timely" premium payments to insurance carriers (via checks, ACH or online) to avoid notices of cancellation.
- Initiate Electronic Payments (ACH or Wire Transfers) to carriers through our preferred banking partner.
- Research and resolve payable discrepancies (premium, commission, billing etc.) with branch offices, insurance carriers and or the Premium Receivable team.
- Able to research and respond to high volume of inquiries (email & Phone calls) timely and appropriately.
- Follow up for carrier invoices or statements through all of the necessary channels.
- Process client refunds or pass-through payments for clients.
- Apply or resolve company checks from insurance carriers.
- In-house check processing rotation for Premium Payable Team.
- Act as a back-up for other Premium Payable team members as needed.
- File AP documents into our electronic filing system timely and accurately.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

The national average salary for this role is $33.33 / hr to 35.90 / hr in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
