EPIC Early Learning is looking for a compassionate Infant / Toddler Teacher to join our Migrant Head Start program. Our organization has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families in Central Washington for over 45 years. The Infant / Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children aged 0-3 years. You will collaborate with fellow educators and families to foster children's development through hands-on activities and individualized care. Your role will be critical in supporting children’s emotional and educational needs while ensuring a positive early learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing lesson plans that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers.
- Establish and maintain a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Engage with families to build meaningful relationships and encourage their involvement in their child’s education.
- Observe and assess children's development and document significant milestones.
- Collaborate with a team of educators and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Follow program policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Be committed to characterizing a culture of safety within our centers, playgrounds, buses and anywhere that children may be present. Be familiar with and encourage EPICs culture of "See Something, Say Something".
Requirements
Pay Level : $21.212 to $24.92 Hourly
Note : This position is for the 2025 MSHS program beginning on April 17, 2025.
