Job Overview:

The Director of Operations will oversee the daily operations of Epic Enterprise Inc, ensuring that all services provided align with 245D licensing requirements and organizational goals. This role includes managing program delivery, supervising staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and overseeing all training programs. The Director of Operations will report to the Executive Director and work collaboratively with other leadership team members to advance the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

· Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in line with 245D licensing requirements.

· Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.

· Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning for operational activities.

2. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

· Ensure all services and programs comply with 245D licensing requirements and other relevant regulations.

· Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement.

· Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance issues.

· Serve as Designated Manager/Designated Coordinator or oversee DM/DC.

3. Staff Supervision and Development:

· Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

· Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to staff.

· Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.

4. Training Oversight:

· Oversee a comprehensive training program for all staff, ensuring compliance with 245D training requirements.

· Coordinate and deliver training sessions on topics such as disability awareness, person-centered planning, and regulatory compliance.

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed.

5. Program Development and Management:

· Lead the development and implementation of new programs and services that meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.

· Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, families, and community partners, to identify needs and opportunities for program enhancement.

· Ensure programs are person-centered and align with the organization's mission and values.

6. Community Engagement and Advocacy:

· Represent Epic Enterprise Inc at community events, meetings, and forums.

· Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities at local, state, and national levels.

· Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding sources.

Qualifications:

· BA/BS in Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the nonprofit sector, preferably with experience in disability services.

· Five years of supervisory and management experience is required, along with the ability to provide leadership, direction, and innovation.

· In-depth knowledge of 245D licensing requirements and regulations.

· Proven track record of managing operations, budgets, and staff in a nonprofit setting.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong commitment to the mission and values of Epic Enterprise Inc.

· Receive a “qualified status” on the criminal background check.

· Complete and maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

· Able to perform the physical functions of the jobs.

· Must support Employment First practices.

Compensation and Benefits:

· -Exempt position, starting at $60,000

· -Typically M-Th, some work on Friday’s, primarily on-site. The work hours will vary based upon needs and scheduling.

· -Private, non-smoking office. Off-street parking available.

· - Benefit package after two full months of full-time employment to include medical (employee contribution), dental, vision, 401K plan, Short-term disability, Long-term disability, Group Life Insurance, and other elective coverages. Personal Time Off and eight paid holidays.
