Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Social Media Content Creator to join our team in a part-time, in-house capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, increasing brand awareness, and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.
This is an on-site position, with occasional travel to events for content creation.
*NOTE: Applicants who own their own businesses or represent digital marketing/social media agencies will NOT be considered.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Management
- Develop high-quality, engaging content (videos, graphics, images, and captions) tailored to each platform.
- Plan and schedule posts using social media management tools.
- Edit and repurpose existing content to maximize reach.
- Social Media Strategy & Engagement
- Collaborate with the CEO to execute campaigns aligned with company goals.
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments/messages promptly.
- Identify trending topics, hashtags, and viral content opportunities to enhance reach.
- Event Coverage & Behind-the-Scenes Content
- Attend events to capture live content, including behind-the-scenes footage, décor setups, and guest interactions.
- Create reels, short-form videos, and photo stories for promotional use.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Use insights from analytics tools (Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to evaluate content performance.
- Adjust strategy based on engagement metrics to optimize audience reach.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience managing social media for a business or brand.
- Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or a creative industry is a plus.
- Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn best practices.
- Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
- Photography and videography skills are highly preferred.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work on-site (Clearwater, St. Pete, Tampa Bay area).
- Reliable transportation to attend events as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
