Job Summary
Epic Health Partners, LLC is seeking Qualified Mental Health Professional - Adult to provide services to individuals in the Mobile Crisis Program and Community Stabilization. Salary $30-$60 per hour
Job Description:
The Qualified Mental Health is responsible for the provision of services to individuals enrolled in the Mobile Crisis program or Community Stabilization program. Services include coordination of psychiatric assessment, including medication management, medical examination, and individual and group counseling. Assessments will be conducted, ISP development with program participants, documentation of daily notes, and coordination of case management services if applicable.
- Work as team members, maintaining effective inter- and intra-agency working relationships.
- Work independently performing position duties under general supervision.
- Promote calm and stable direction to individuals receiving services.
- Ensure service provision within DBHDS, DMAS, MCO, and EHP regulations
- Assist individuals with de-escalation techniques and mental health education
- Ensure that notes are due every 24 hours by the end of session time
- Participate in discharge sessions
- Follow all regulations and comply with all program expectations
- Fulfill care coordination functions and provide linkage to resources
- Submit accompanying documentation based on required timeframes
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor or Higher degree in Human Service Related field.
- Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Adult (QMHP-A)
- Must successfully complete a criminal background and central registry check.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must have current auto insurance.
- Must have current TB screening.
- Must be currently certified in CPR and First Aid.
