What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSAC/ CSAC-E position at Epic Health Partners?
Job Summary: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC/CSAC-S) provide mental health support services for individuals with co-occurring disorders. CSACs will have direct involvement with individuals to develop and implement treatment goals, provide individual counseling and group sessions, and provide service coordination to holistically address the needs of the individuals served.
Seeking multiple candidates that are interested in working part-time. This position is 6 hours a day Monday-Friday. Candidate must have CSAC or CSAC-E.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure DMAS/DBHDS/EHP Policy compliance for all records generated from individuals served.
- Maintain a healthy, organized, and positive atmosphere for individuals served.
- Senior Staff, to include group and individual psycho-therapy sessions for individuals.
- Ensure the on-time completion of all record-keeping as it relates to the standards of Epic Health Partners.
- Coordinate with ARTS Clinical and Program Director(s) for the timely submission of documentation.
- Collaborate with Clinical and Program Directors towards therapeutic goals and interventions to be implemented.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at any of Epic Health Partners facilities.
- Train, encourage, and monitor all ARTS individuals as needed in your area.
- Provide coordination and assistance with ARTS Physician as needed.
- Assume self-empowerment, when applicable, to solve problems and act on opportunities while maintaining ongoing communication with supervisor(s) to ensure the appropriateness of the actions taken.
- Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings, trainings, and supervisions at the appropriate offices.

Experience and Professional Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s in related field (Certified Substance Abuse/Supervisee).
- At least 1 year of experience providing mental health and/or addiction services in an individual, family, and group setting.
- Combination of comparable skills, experience, and education Training:
- Must be currently certified in: CPR, First Aid, and verification of Tuberculosis screening.
