Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals
- Assist with daily living activities
- Ensure that medications are administed
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate personnel
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience with Substance Use population
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals with diverse needs
- Ability to transport individuals as needed, for the provision of services
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Ability to successfully complete Central Registry and DBHDS background check

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift (Weekend)
- 8 hour shift
