What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN MDS Coordinator Hybrid Remote (Must live within 2 hours of Cambridge, OH) position at EPIC Healthcare Solutions?
We have a hybrid remote opportunity for a qualified RN who will ensure completion of the MDS, associated documentation, Care Area Assessment Summary (CAA’s), and care plans within the regulatory guidelines as outlined in the Resident Assessment Instrument regulations. This includes both assuring accuracy and timeliness of all required MDSs. This person will provide oversight of the Prospective Payment System (PPS) and Patient Driven Payment System (PDPM) for our residents in our skilled nursing facility. Will also act as a clinical coordinator by considering all aspects of residents’ care, and coordinating services with physicians, families, third party payers, and facility staff. The ideal candidate will have a current multi-state RN license, have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a health care setting, a minimum of 1 year of experience in a long term care setting. Prior experience as an MDS Coordinator with demonstrated expertise is required. Knowledge of PCC Point Click Care is a plus.
This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will reside in the Akron/Canton or Cambridge, OH market.
