Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for improving resident care.
Director of Nursing (DON) Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and standards of care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for residents.
- Manage the nursing budget and resources efficiently.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to resident care.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring of nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
- DON experience in long-term care is required.
