\The Registered Nurse Supervisor will oversee unit activities, staff assignments, and clinical expertise consistent with established nursing standards. This role involves identifying and responding to patient needs, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and communicating with interdisciplinary teams.
\\\Responsibilities:

- Organize and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments. \
- Demonstrate clinical expertise consistent with established nursing standards. \
- Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely manner. \
- Monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses. \
- Administer medications and treatments as needed. \
- Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff. \
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services. \
- Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition. \
- Lead and direct emergency situations (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.). \
- Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, and census roster. \
Requirements
\To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A current and good standing RN License in the State of New York. \
- Previous experience with geriatric/short term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable. \
- Progressive Nursing experience in a geriatric setting. \
- Supervisory experience preferred. \
- A genuine interest in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents. \
- Patient and willing to assist any residents and co-workers. \
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills. \
- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff. \
