Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at EPIC Rehabilitation and Nursing at White Plains. As a 5-star, 160-bed skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, we strive to provide exceptional care and services to our residents.
As an LPN, you will work closely with our unit leadership and respond promptly to resident/family needs within your scope of practice. You will utilize the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care, making decisions that promote safety and quality care.
You will perform and administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects. Effective communication and collaboration with the care team are essential to revise/update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab/test results, incidents, and concerns.
You will also monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses; prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate delivery of care for CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from an approved school of Nursing
- Licensure and current registration in good standing in New York as an LPN
- A commitment to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
- A spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with all staff
