We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Epic Healthcare. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting independence, preserving dignity, and improving their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with procedures
- Create and maintain a calm atmosphere throughout the unit/shift
- Prepare residents for meals, serve trays, and assist with feeding as indicated
- Check residents routinely to assure that their personal care/hygiene needs are being met
- Assist with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring residents into/out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchair, lifts, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications
- CNA Certification in New York State that is current and in good standing
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, and compassionate care as a CNA to each resident
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, and sometimes challenging residents
- Patient, cheerful disposition, and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Trusted to work independently and in a team environment
