Infotainer Job Descripton

Role Overview: Jingle Holiday is seeking a spirited and dynamic Infotainer to bring the spirit of Christmas to life at our holiday event. As an Infotainer, you will create a warm, festive atmosphere, engage with guests, and ensure a seamless event experience across various areas. This role combines engaging guest interactions with diverse operational responsibilities, including working in various areas of the event, from Guest Services, the Ice Skate Shop/Skating Trail, the North Pole, Mrs. Claus Kid Zone, VIP, Pop Up Tents/Bars, and Ticket Entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Interaction: Warmly greet guests, engage with visitors, and create a joyful and festive environment. Roam throughout the event to spread holiday cheer and ensure memorable experiences for all.
• Entertainment: Assist in captivating story sessions and interact with younger guests to foster their imagination and enhance their holiday experience. Use creativity to entertain and delight visitors throughout the event.
• Event Operations: Work in every area of the event, including Guest Services, the Ice Skate Shop/Skating Trail, the North Pole, Mrs. Claus Kid Zone, VIP, Pop Up Tents/Bars, and Ticket Entry. Collaborate with the JINGLE! team to maintain high standards across all these areas and attend daily pre-shift meetings to stay informed about event specifics.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure cleanliness and uphold the highest level of quality in your assigned area to maintain the spirit of the event. Handle incidents by diffusing or reporting them to your Supervisor.
• Communication & Safety: Effectively communicating, adhere to best practices, and maintain proper uniform and credentials for safety and security. Represent Jingle Holiday professionally and warmly in all guest interactions.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Experience: Previous experience in large-scale events, live theater, or themed entertainment to bring authenticity and charm to your role.
• Creativity & Vision: Ability to craft premium, value-driven experiences with a creative flair and a passion for holiday magic.
• Customer Service Passion: Commitment to delivering exceptional results and outstanding guest service.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or push at least 25 lbs.
• Organizational Skills: Highly self-directed, meticulous, and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Location:

• Location: Must reside in or be willing to travel to one of the event locations: Kansas City, O’Fallon or Ozark

Commitment:

• Training Day: To be Confirmed
• Show Period: November 18- December 31, 2024
• Availability: Must be prepared to work every day which may include Christmas Day and New Years Eve depending on location.

Experience:

• service industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• O'Fallon, MO 63366: Relocate before starting work (Required)
