WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests and other
- items related to the servicing of clients Assist clients with policy coverages and related questions
- Reviews the policy coverages for potential gaps and other needs of the policyholder
- Work with Producers to assist client with the service needs mentioned above
- Renew and retain assigned accounts. Conduct renewal process working with Producers, if applicable, to provide the best possible options for our client
- Provide client with additional coverage options
- Maintains client files in appropriate systems and provides standard office / administrative support
- Maintain carrier relationships and follow any changes with our contracted carriers and keep up with industry trends
- Build and maintain relationships with Foreign Brokers / Foreign Entities as it relates to their US Operations
- Other duties as assigned
Client Service :
Consistently establishes and maintains high levels of trust and confidence with clients by initiatingintroductions, through periodic contacts, and by promptly responding and resolving client questions and issuesProcess all applications, policies, endorsements, incoming mail, binders, schedules, certificates, audits, and other items related to the servicing of clients policies in a timelyAnd accurate mannerInform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs. Assist clients in making coverage changesMeet all quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System while properly documenting all activityOther duties as assignedMarketing
Work with Placement Department and Producers to properly transition new business writtenFor renewal marketing : Submit applications with proper supporting documentation and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotes and policiesIf needed, enter policy information into carrier websites for quote optionsAggressively and professionally negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalersPresent quote options to the broker, client and / or Producer, if applicableBind and issue policies in carrier websites or order policies from underwritersOther duties may be assignedPersonal and Organizational DevelopmentSet priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilitiesMaintain cordial and effective relations with clients, co-workers, carriers, wholesalers, vendors, brokers and other business contactsMaintain up-to-date client records, workflow tasks / activities, manuals, or other required documentationInteract with others effectively utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals of the CompanyStay informed regarding industry trends, new product / program developments, coverages, legislation, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performanceWork effectively to resolve problems or enhance service promptlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demandsEnsure expert knowledge is maintainedOther duties may be assignedWHAT YOU’LL BRING
Full knowledge of Property Casualty lines of coverage and servicesRecognize problems and respond appropriatelyAble to analyze situations logically to draw solid conclusionsDemonstrate experience with Agency Management Systems, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospectsAdvanced knowledge of navigating the Internet as well as various Microsoft Office programs to include Windows, Outlook, Word & ExcelStrong attention to detail and time management abilitiesStrong ability to multi-task and assign priorityAbility to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervisionAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independentlyStrong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oralEDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. The base pay will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications, and education while considering internal equity and market data.
