Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our skilled electricians on various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical systems and a willingness to learn on the job. This position requires working in diverse environments, including construction sites, and involves the use of various tools and equipment.

Duties

• Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand electrical layouts.
• Help with high voltage installations under the supervision of licensed electricians.
• Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience or training as an electrical helper or in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with high voltage systems is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of industrial or commercial electrical work is advantageous.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is highly desirable.
• Experience working on construction sites is beneficial.
• A strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and grow within the role.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to Commute:

• Monroe, NC 28111 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Monroe, NC 28111: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
