Epic Personnel Partners is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Windsor, CT!
Pay Rate: $20-$25
Schedule: 9:00AM-5:00PM/Flexible
Duties: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of complex industrial machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the repair, assembly, and maintenance of industrial machinery used in surface treatments such as shot peening, laser peening, and coating systems.
- Align, install, and calibrate machines including pumps, conveyors, and dust collectors, using specialized tools like hoists, jacks, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs.
- Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical system issues, including circuit boards, wiring, and sub-assemblies, ensuring full compliance with our rigorous quality standards.
- Perform precision soldering and crimping on electrical components, adhering to IPC J-STD-001, IPC 620, and IPC 610 standards.
- Operate precision machinery such as lathes and milling machines to grind, file, and turn parts, ensuring all equipment and components meet specification.
- Work with high-voltage electrical systems (140 volts), ensuring proper handling, troubleshooting, and repair while adhering to strict safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical assembly, or related fields.
- Post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical technology (certificate or diploma preferred).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with hand tools, meters, gauges, crimpers, wire strippers, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
- High standards for precision and quality, ensuring all work meets stringent industry regulations and company specifications.
- Proven experience working with high-voltage electrical systems, specifically those exceeding 140 volts, with a strong understanding of electrical safety protocols.
