About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Safety Senior General Manager to lead and oversee quality and food safety programs across our warehouse and kitchen operations. Reporting to the Compliance Group General Manager, this role is critical to ensuring our company meets all customer, regulatory, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide guidance to quality assurance teams, including QA supervisors and quality control technicians.
- Lead HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense teams.
- Ensure all locations meet SQF, HACCP, and food safety audit requirements.
- Oversee compliance with FDA, USDA, and local health regulations.
- Monitor environmental and microbiological programs, including investigations and follow-ups.
- Implement and update food safety programs.
- Conduct audits, mock recalls, and risk assessments.
- Respond promptly to critical events like recalls and food safety issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments to address quality control challenges.
- Support employee training on GMPs, sanitation, and pest management practices.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and regulators.
- Respond to urgent customer needs within 20 minutes and resolve non-critical issues within 24-36 hours.
