We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This is for a well-established, large, national food distribution company located in the city of Lacey, Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the communication with agency onsite supervisors, the development and implementation of HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the principles of human resources management and a proven track record of success in the field. Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or 4 years relevant experience.
- Ability to schedule and conduct meetings.
- Conflict resolution.
- Ability to operate under pressure.
- Coordinate with 3rd party employment agencies.
- Ability to read and write in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations, including performance management and training/ development.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.
- Manage employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation policies.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.
- Develop strategies to retain employees and reduce turnover.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Communicate with agency onsite supervisors.
- Manage and update employee schedules.
