Epic Personnel Partners is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Cheese, Janitorial, and Quality Assurance departments. This role ensures product quality, food safety, sanitation, and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily QA and cheese department operations, ensuring safety, sanitation, and compliance.
- Monitor product quality, equipment performance, and order accuracy.
- Enforce HACCP, GMP, and SQF food safety programs and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain facility sanitation and oversee plant quality inspections.
- Assign tasks, manage schedules, and evaluate employee performance.
- Address customer concerns and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with MSDS policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of QA or production supervision experience (wholesale industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and SQF (certifications preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and WMS systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work extended hours if needed.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (32-36°F) and standing for up to 2 hours per shift.
