Warehouse Cheese Department Receiving Supervisor

Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Receiving Supervisor – Cheese Dept. in Ruther Glen, VA!

Receiving Supervisor: Oversee the Receiving Department, specifically within our Cheese Division. Responsible for supervising department personnel, maintaining workflow efficiency, and collaborating with other departments to uphold company standards. Will possess strong leadership skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling perishable goods.

Salary: $47,500 - $52,500/HR

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and schedule Receiving Department associates while conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies, food safety regulations, and perishable inventory handling.
• Maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and address customer concerns.
• Enforce sanitation and safety standards, ensuring proper handling and storage of cheese products.
• Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and uphold productivity goals.
• Provide flexibility to support business needs across multiple shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision required, preferably in the wholesale or food distribution industry.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or sit for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse temperatures, including refrigerated environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of management.
