What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Supervisor position at EPIC PIPING, LLC?
Epic Distribution has an exciting opportunity available for an Inventory Control Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising and coordinating a perpetual inventory record of material, supplies, and other stock items as well as coordinating stock transfers between facilities.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and well-organized.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor all cycle count programs and ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify all operational problems in inventory.
- Maintain records of all variances according to established procedures.
- Monitor work of all inventory control personnel and ensure achievement of all objectives.
- Ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records.
- Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to manual and recommend process updates if required.
- Monitor all inventory control processes and documents.
- Manage all inventory transactions and provide required feedback to team as required.
- Manage inventory levels / stock transfers between facilities
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
Experience: 3 years of Industrial PVF experience, or inventory control experience
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office; Experience with JD Edwards: Preferred
Other Requirements: Knowledge of piping materials (visual and descriptions)
