Job Description
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond appropriately to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
- The LPN will use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of direct care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standard nursing treatments and/or medications and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise/update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings including lab/test results, incidents, and/or concerns.
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
