The Warehouse Lead ensures that all shipments are accurately processed, inventory control is maintained, ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time and in line with company standards. The focus of Warehouse Leads to master the following
Track, organize and unload shipments of business martials
Organize inventory in a manner that optimizes space and accessibility
Follow safety and quality procedures for inbound and outbound material
Track and maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of reports for audits or reviews
Monitor product levels and initiate reorders as necessary and provide statuses to management.
Oversee the receiving process, ensuring that incoming goods are checked, labeled, and stored properly.
Coordinate outbound shipments, including organizing pick lists, packing, and ensuring timely dispatch.
Inspect shipments for damage and resolve any issues with vendors or carriers.
Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets company standards
Collaborate with other departments to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Prioritize orders to meet deadlines, managing backorders as needed.
Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote a safe working environment.
Ensure that warehouse operations comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Implement and oversee labeling systems, shelving, and binning practices to maximize operational efficiency.
Ensure the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.
Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Work with management to implement new technology or systems to improve operations.
Accurately enter data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
Maintain up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and returns.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred); or comparable experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges.

Safely operate forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other machinery to move goods around the warehouse.

Stooping and Bending - Able to stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods, often for more than 10 minutes at a time, to access and perform tasks at lower levels or ground level.
