School-Based Therapy Services
We are seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing school-based therapy services to students with special needs. As a member of our special education staff, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans, collaborate with educators and parents, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families.
About the Position
This full-time role involves working with students in grades K-12, providing occupational therapy services to promote academic and social success. The successful candidate will assess student progress, develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing individualized occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Assessing student progress, developing and implementing strategies to improve outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to state and federal regulations
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A valid School Certified Occupational Therapist credential/license or be in process in the state of practice
- At least one year of verifiable experience as a School Certified Occupational Therapist within the last three years
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
