About the Role
This is a contract position with an exceptional school district for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support to students with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions to students with special needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistency and continuity of care
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid School Psychologist credential/license or in process in state of practice
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Psychologist within the last 3 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively with diverse populations
