">We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team at an exceptional school district in Lillington, NC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their peers. This is a full-time position available from ASAP - 05/30/2025.
">Key Responsibilities

- Provide accurate and effective interpretation services in a variety of settings, including classrooms, meetings, and extracurricular activities. ">
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. ">
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict standards of professionalism in all interactions. ">
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sign language interpretation and special education. ">
Requirements
">To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, you must possess:

- A valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in the state of practice. ">
- At least one year of verifiable experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within the last three years. ">

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. ">
