Job Description:

This role involves working as a School Certified Occupational Therapist for the 2024 - 2025 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and parents to develop individualized plans, and utilizing evidence-based practices to promote student learning and independence.

School Information:

The school district is located in Jacksonville, NC, serving students from Elementary to Pre-K levels. This position offers a full-time schedule with 37.50 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to students with varying abilities and needs* Develop and implement individualized plans in collaboration with teachers and parents* Utilize evidence-based practices to promote student learning and independence* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues

Qualifications:

* A valid School Certified Occupational Therapist credential/license or in process in state of practice* At least one year of verifiable, professional experience as School Certified Occupational Therapist within the last three years* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders* Strong communication and problem-solving skills*
