Job Description:
- We are currently seeking a contract Sign Language Interpreter for the 2024-2025 school year.
- The position will be located in Oak Forest, IL, and will require full-time hours with a weekly pay range of $35.00-$40.25 per hour on a local contract.
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- A valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or in process in state of practice.
- At least one year of verifiable professional experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within the last three years.
- Licensed to work in the United States.
