Cinema NOC Support Technician
Location: Epic Theatres Locations & Home Office (Deltona, FL)
Position Type: Full-time
Epic Theatres, a Florida based cinema company with 12 locations, is seeking a Cinema NOC Support Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, digital cinema systems, and customer-facing services. You'll be part of a hard-working and agile team, supporting a wide range of technologies and operational tasks across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cinema NOC Support Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Network Connectivity Management: Ensure the stability and performance of network connections across all theatre locations, diagnosing and resolving issues as needed.
- Cinema Systems Support: Spot-check and troubleshoot the Theatre Management System (TMS) to ensure films play on time and resolve any system-related issues.
- Content Distribution & Management: Oversee and distribute ads, trailers, features, and digital content, ensuring everything is properly scheduled and displayed in theatres.
- Projection Equipment Support: Interface with theatre staff and vendors to maintain and troubleshoot projection and media equipment.
- Film & Event Scheduling: Assist with scheduling films, special events, and other operational tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- POS System Management: Maintain and troubleshoot the POS database, hardware, and software, addressing any issues with customer-facing kiosks and employee POS systems.
- Troubleshooting & On-Site Repairs: Provide hands-on support, diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues related to POS systems and digital signage.
- Customer & Employee Support: Manage inbound customer support requests, offering technical assistance to both customers and internal teams.
- Digital Signage & Web Content Updates: Regularly update digital menu boards, websites, and other digital assets with new content.
- Hardware Inventory & Asset Management: Organize and catalog IT and projection equipment inventory, ensuring assets are properly tracked and maintained.
- Vendor & Internal Communications: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues, meet project goals, and maintain operational continuity.
- Project Ownership: Take ownership of assigned technical projects and assist with other departmental initiatives as needed.

- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, particularly when documenting technical issues and updates.

- Dependability & Accountability: Demonstrated reliability and ownership of tasks, ensuring timely completion without needing repeated prompts.
- Customer-Focused: Friendly, professional, and helpful in all interactions with customers and team members.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with shifting priorities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), digital projection systems (preferred), POS systems, and troubleshooting software/hardware.
- Self-Starter: Able to identify issues proactively and resolve them independently, while also collaborating with others as needed.
Additional Requirements
- Available for weekends, holidays, and occasional travel to theatre locations during scheduled shifts (no overnight travel required).
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting or across various locations.
