Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for an exciting 13-week assignment in the Cath Lab. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in supporting cardiologists and radiologists with diagnostic and interventional vascular and cardiology procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Sterile Field Preparation: Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked for each procedure.
- Contrast Media Administration: Safely administer contrast media as delegated by physicians, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Radiation Safety: Monitor and enforce radiation safety practices throughout the lab to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
- Imaging Support: Position patients accurately and obtain high-quality images using C-arm technology during surgical procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience in interventional cardiology and vascular procedures.
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology (registry eligible).
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Ohio Radiographer License.
- Ongoing certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association and attainment of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of employment.
