About the Job
Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Occupational Therapist to fill a 13-week assignment with a 40-hour workweek. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with patients to help them achieve their goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs to develop individualized plans of care
- Treatment Techniques and Implementation
- Provide a variety of treatment techniques to help patients achieve their goals
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote effective treatment outcomes
- Continuing Care and Education
- Develop and implement continuing care plans to support patient independence
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on relevant healthcare topics
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of Ohio
- Hand Therapist certification preferred
- CPR certification required
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a travel setting
