About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Epic Travel Staffing Allied. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment and performing various mammography-related diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate digital x-ray equipment and perform stereotactic biopsies with high accuracy.
- Maintain a high degree of proficiency in operating x-ray equipment and performing mammography-related procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, ensuring exceptional care and a positive experience.
Requirements
- Current certification by ARRT in Radiography and advanced level certification in Mammography.
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography, with preference for those with 2 years or more.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
- Fluency in medical terminology and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
